After five months of passionate competition, we’re now down to the final stretch of our Next Top Twitch Poker Streamer contest!
*Poker Central is TV’s first 24/7 poker only network but it doesn’t stop them from crossing over to Twitch and making sure that everyone has access to everything related to poker on TV or online. You’ll mostly find interviews and casual games in their channel, so don’t expect too much high-stakes gaming.
*My name Patrick ’IrEgption’ Tardif. I’m a full time poker streamer on twitch. I’ve been supporting Gamers Outreach through Gamers for Giving over the past 6 years. Since I’m unable to attend the 2018 event, I’m looking to raise money on my own to make up for it.
A second wave of increasingly popular streamers, such as Patrick ’IrEgption’ Tardif, Arlie Shaban and Hristivoje ’All In Pav’ Pavlovic, could potentially lock down sponsorship deals in the future, as poker rooms continue to look to Twitch.tv for new sponsored talent. GGPoker announced that a popular Twitch streamer has joined a new-formed GGSquad, a team of poker streamers who are intended to interact with the GGPoker community.The GGSquad will become an additional marketing team along with the brand promoters called GGHerous and GGCrew.
I’ve been so impressed by how many people have invested their time, energy, and creativity into building their channels and growing their Twitch community. I have so much respect for all of our contestants and arguably any of our final ten would be a worthy winner of the entire contest. I never thought picking a winner would be easy, but after seeing our final ten, even choosing a final three was difficult – so I chose a final five instead. Win or lose, I hope all of our contestants continue their content journeys on Twitch!
